Pick up from your hotel or Nile cruise ship by a horse-drawn carriage and go first to the Aswan Coptic Cathedral with its amazing scenes, followed by a stop at the historical El-Tabia Mosque flanked by its two wonderful minarets.
Then, reaching the Spice Old Market, get off the carriage and start a walking tour in the Aswan Old Market called also Souq. It is the best place to pick up spices, souvenirs and crafts. Aswan’s Old Souq is also famous for its henna powder and its delicious roasted peanuts, in addition to the hibiscus flowers used to make karkadey. You can also see the handmade baskets and trays around the city. The spices and indigo powder are prominently displayed.
Get back on your horse-drawn carriage to bring you back to your hotel or Nile Cruise ship.
