This morning enjoy a guided tour of the legendary Pyramids of Giza and the iconic Sphinx. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. Whilst here, you can opt to enter the inside one of the pyramids, subject to opening. Not built for the purpose of accommodating curious travellers, a visit inside one of the pyramids is hot, humid and not recommended for those that are claustrophobic! For a real Arabian experience, perhaps opt to hire a camel for a trot across the sands of Giza and grab that iconic photo of the 3 pyramids (your guide can help you arrange this locally).

Next stop is the Grand Egyptian Museum, which houses a giant exhibition containing the treasures of King Tutankhamun. In this incredible 490,000 sq.m complex many of the exhibits are being displayed for the first time and artefacts have been brought together from across Egypt and the world. After your guided tour of the museum, end the day with a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization where you can see the mummies of ancient Egyptian kings and queens which are displayed in the Royal Mummies' Hall. This incredible hall contains 20 mummies in total including King Ramses II. Some are so well preserved that you can still see hair on their heads and fingernails. This evening considers heading out to dinner at one of the restaurants that offer fantastic views of Cairo and the Nile. Ask your guide for some recommendations!

Please Note: The Grand Egyptian Museum is scheduled to open in late 2023, though an official opening date has yet to be released. If travelling prior to the opening of the new facility, we'll visit the Egyptian Museum instead.

Free day to enjoy Cairo your way. Perhaps enjoy an optional Cairo city tour or a visit to the first pyramid ever built - Zhoser’s Step Pyramid at Saqqara. You could also head over to National Museum of Egyptian Civilization to visit the fascinating Royal Mummies' Hall, where the mummies of ancient Egyptian kings and queens are on display. If you already have something in mind that you would like to pre book, let your consultant know so we can arrange this in advance.

Embark on a half a day guided city tour exploring classic Dubai (shared/seat-in-coach city tour with English speaking guide)

This fascinating tour catches the contrasts of modern Dubai with fast paced developments and the flair of trade on merchants markets. As we drive along the many kilometers of Jumeirah Beach Road, you will get an insight of today’s wealth in vibrant Dubai when going past exclusive residential neighborhoods with villas, mansions and palaces. On the way to the old center of Dubai we will stop at the marvelous Jumeirah Mosque. After a short break, we continue our journey to the Zabeel area, an impressive and illustrious part of Dubai, to see the palace of the ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed among many other majestic & opulent residences. Next we reach the banks of the Creek, there is the Opportunity to catch sight of the amazing skyline of Dubai and take photographs of a modern metropolis with its Splendid architecture. Just a few-minutes-drive away is the Al Fahidi Fort, a museum that records the city’s past as an important pearl diving and trading center. By Abra, a type of a water taxi, we reach the opposite bank of the Creek, a suburb called Deira to mix and mingle with merchants of all origins in bustling alleys within both the gold and the spice souk. You will experience an amazing contrast of just one city with shopping facilities like in the old times as well as in the modern world.

In the afternoon you will be picked up by our representative and proceed for desert safari

This tour takes us to the Dubai desert, crossing beautiful oceans of towering sand dunes to arrive at the camel farm. From the high dunes, one witnesses the sunset as the sun illuminates its huge sand-covered areas. The hustle and bustle of the city is far from the unrivalled silence and tranquility that surrounds you. Enchanted by the magnificent panorama, pioneer a charming Arabian night. After a challenging ride through the desert, reach our traditional Arabian camp, where a barbecue dinner is served in a torch-lit setting that brings the charming belly dancer to life, performing to the rhythm of captivating Arabic music under a galaxy of stars. As you relax on comfortable cushions in "Bedouin" tents and quench your thirst, your hands are painted with intricate henna designs. You could also try a short camel ride or just enjoy an aromatic shisha, while out under the sky. After dinner, we return to the hotel in the same jeeps.
