Kitchener’s Island, also known as Ilse Kitchener or Kitchener’s Botanical Garden, is a botanical garden located in Aswan, Egypt. It is named after Horatio Kitchener, who was the British Consul-General in Egypt at the turn of the 20th century.
The island features a collection of exotic plants and trees, including species from Asia, Africa, and South America, as well as a palm grove and a cactus garden.
