Radamis II Nile Cruise sails between Luxor and Aswan or vice versa, a distance of 220 kilometers. With an overnight stay in Esna/Edfu and either Luxor and Aswan. Steep yourself in 7,000 years of history while enjoying 21st century comfort and timeless Swiss hospitality cruising on the world’s longest river, the Nile flows through a wealth of heritage in Upper Egypt. The Radamis II Nile Cruise was built in 2000 and renovated in 2009.
The cruise ship offers a total of 65 well-appointed deluxe cabins of approximately 20 square meters, including 04 family cabins and 04 deluxe suites of approximately 28 square meters. All the cabins at Radamis II Nile Cruise offer air-conditioning with individual temperature controls and benefit from a panoramic wall-to-wall window.
The spacious bathroom is fully equipped with a bathtub, hairdryer and shaving sockets for 220V power supply. Also featured is a color television, an in-house video channel and music channel, Wi-Fi for all cabins. Non-smoking cabins are available on request.
While journeying along the illustrious Nile, we shall make several stops to explore the distinctive assemblage of our ancient and contemporary monuments, encompassing the formidable High Dam, the venerable Temple of Philae, and the monumental Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan. In Luxor, our itinerary includes predetermined visits to the renowned Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, the iconic Colossi of Memnon, the expansive Karnak Temples Complex, and the majestic Temple of Luxor.
Moreover, our esteemed guests who grace Egypt with their presence will have the opportunity to marvel at the Temple of Kom Ombo, known colloquially as the Crocodile Temple, and the impeccably preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu.
An array of optional tours awaits your discerning choice. For our cherished guests embarking on a 3, 4, or 7-night cruise along the Nile, ample time is allotted to partake in one or two optional tours, in addition to the customary visits to historical sites in Aswan, Luxor, and the intervening locales.
These optional excursions encompass experiences such as a Hot Air Balloon ride in Luxor, an enchanting Sound & Light Show at Karnak or Philae Temple, a serene voyage by Felucca or sailing boat around the enchanting islands of Luxor and Aswan, or an exploration of the hidden treasures within our Pharaonic sites, including the Valley of the Queens, the Ramsseum, the Temple of Madinet Habu, and the tombs of Deir El Madina in Luxor. Notably, in Aswan, we are adept at facilitating regular visits to the magnificent Temples of Abu Simbel, the Temple of Kalabsha, the enlightening Nubian Museum, and the natural splendor of the Nubian Village.
Morning time, you will be met by our local representative in Aswan, who will transfer you by private Air-conditioned vehicle to your Nile Cruise boat. We will check-in our boat within few minutes. After that, you will join our professional tour guide to visit the Aswan High Dam, constructed by the former president, Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 to store the water of the Nile, and then generate electricity. We will then drive to shores of the River Nile and take a motor boat to reach the Agilika Island to visit Temple of Philae, constructed in the 3rd century BC in the Greco Roman period. Our last visit of this marvelous day tour in Aswan will be to the Unfinished Obelisk, which was found in the granite quarry in the Southern part of Aswan. After the tour, we will get back to our Nile Cruise boat for overnight.
Energizing breakfast on the cruise. Our Nile Cruise boat will be landed at the location of the city of Kom Ombo, where we will visit Temple of Sobek & Haroeris, established in the Ptolemaic period, completed in the Roman era, and was dedicated to two gods, the local crocodile, Sobek and the famous eagle god, Haroeris. After that, we will get back to our boat for rest and refresh. Later on, we will visit Temple of Horus in Edfu, the finest preserved ancient Egyptian temple in the land of the Nile. We will then get back to our boat for overnight.
Free morning on your own or (optional) we can offer a Hot-air Balloon over the West Bank of Luxor. Enjoy your delicious breakfast before exploring the city of the dead where we can visit Valley of the Kings, the richest and most fascinating ancient tombs in Egypt. This was the burial site of the kings from the New Kingdom. The next visit of the day will be to the Temple of Deir El Bahari, constructed during the reign of the 18th dynasty by Queen Hatshepsut, one of the greatest rulers of Egypt. Our last visit will be to the Colossi of Memnon; these two huge statues are the only remaining items of the great funerary temple of Amenhotep III constructed in 1350 BC and became a landmark of Luxor afterwards. After that, we will get back to our boat for overnight.
Check out after breakfast. Later on, we will move to explore the east bank of Luxor including two marvelous temple complexes. Our first visit of the day will be to the Karnak Temples Complex, constructed over a period of more than one thousand years, almost all the impressive items of the Karnak we see today date back to the new kingdom specially the huge amazing columns of the hypostyle hall which are constructed by Ramses II, the greatest builder of ancient Egypt. We will then visit Luxor Temple, another startling temple that was established around the 14th century BC and the construction continued for many years afterwards by Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and many other Pharaohs. After the tour, we will transfer you to your location in Luxor.
Prices are quoted per person, per night, and valid during Summer Season. However, please note that in case of any increase in taxes, fuel or/and entrance fees, we will keep rights to amend prices accordingly to cover these surcharges.
