Egypt's ancient center for the cult of Isis, the Temples of Philae were venerated from the Pharaonic era through the Greek, Roman, and Byzantine periods with each ruler making their own additions to the stones here. This sacred site has dazzled travelers as it one of Nubia's most important monument sites. It was saved from a watery grave by UNESCO's rescue project during the building of the Aswan High Dam; the temples were transferred block by block from their original place on Philae Island to Agilika Island, 12 kilometers south of Aswan. Thanks to this, today travelers can still walk amid the columns of this ancient venerated site
An early sail to Kalabsha while having your first breakfast on board then you will be taken for a visit to the Temple of Kalabsha. The temple is the best preserved of the three temples here and the most imposing monument in Nubia after the Temple of Abu Simbel. By getting back to the boat, you can watch as it sails to Wadi El Sebou. After lunch, you can enjoy a tasty afternoon Tea on the Sundeck. After that, you are invited to the Manager’s Cocktail Party in the Bar. Dinner is served. The cruise overnight in Wadi El Sebou.
After breakfast, it is time to visit the temple of Wadi El-Sebou, which was dedicated to the worship of the gods Amun-Re, Re-Horakhty, and the deified Ramses II. The boat sails on as you have lunch, eventually arriving at Amada. Now it is Teatime on the Sundeck followed by the visit of Amada temple. It was dedicated to Amun-Ra and Ra-Harakhty, the Temple of Amada in Egypt was constructed by Tuthmosis III and Amenhotep II, and added to by Tuthmosis IV. Moved just 3 km (2 miles) from its original site, it is the oldest surviving Nubian temple. It also has some of the best-preserved Nubian reliefs. After dinner, you are invited to Galabeya Party in the Bar. The cruise overnight in Amada.
While breakfast is served, the boat sails to Kasr Ibrim onward to Abu Simbel. The most magnificent of the monuments Ramses II built, Abu Simbel is both the perfect example of the ambition of this pharaoh's reign and also a model illustration of the achievements of modern engineering and global cooperation. The entire temple complex was transplanted from its original location and lifted piece by piece to its current site by an international UNESCO team working against the clock to preserve it from being flooded by the Aswan High Dam in the 1960s. The colossal stone statues that grace the facade are Pharaoh Ramses II's attempt to achieve immortality. Once your visit is complete, you will return to the boat for your lunch, and you can enjoy a free afternoon. Dinner is served. The cruise overnight in Abu Simbel.
